woo hoo! Congrats!
but most importantly...
THE DEER BORDER WALL PAPER IS DOWN!!!!
Now I just have to pick a paint color. I am losing my mind about it.
any suggestions??? this is my sweet bedding and the furniture is that same cherry color. This is the dream room if we had hardwood floors. I love, love tan but I'm a little nervous because my carpet is light tan...The goal is CALM, sweet...not bright and cutesy. Thanks....seriously, comment, give me your opinion.

Have you thought about a really pale (not pastel) green?
I like the tan/white combo. Maybe you could do like a chair-rail and do white on the bottom (so it's not tan on tan with the carpet) and then do a tan color on top.
A really pretty caramel color would be great! Then you can always accessorize with white frames on the walls, etc. to lighten it up beings you will have the tan carpet and dark wood crib???
No matter what you do I am sure it will look great!
Do an off white wall and a tan stripe!
Yaaaaay!!! This just made me happy dance! :) I am off to email you!
As far as the room goes, I can TOTOALLy see what Mateya put out there. That sounds very calm, and you can do so much with those neutral colors.
So I just looked at the Pottery Barn picture and they have that very light colored rug on the floor- in the majority of the picture... you could still do light tan and add a few items on the walls. PLUS you have the large dark dresser and I know you plan to have a dark chaging table, so I think it would be just fine!
